Apologies for the radio silence! The reason we have been so quiet, and please accept our sincerest apologies for the lack of contact, is because we have been reshaping the way in which our charity operates.
As you are hopefully aware (from previous emails we have sent) we have gone through quite a few changes. To start - a name change!
We have rebranded to re:shape - 're: Sexual Harm Awareness Prevention & Education’, this is to recognise the interventions we have been piloting for the last 2 years and are now able to offer more widely to prevent sexual harm.
What and why the changes
Now working pre offence and across low, medium and high risk we offer 1:1 interventions, paired mentoring, Circles, organisation training & consultancy and a sexual misconduct & harassment membership tool.
We are also thrilled to announce that we have just received funding to lead a community based, multiagency sexual harm prevention hub!
Key to all our developments is our absolute belief in the power of the community to prevent sexual harm.
We have also launched our first national campaign #PreventSexualHarm in partnership with NSPCC, NOTA, NCVO, Crimestoppers & Survive. It'd be great if you have a moment to pledge your support www.re-shape.org.uk/preventsexualharm and if you would consider asking friends/family/colleagues to pledge and share the message via twitter @reshapeOrg - the campaign is trying to empower people to realise they can change the landscape or sexual harm.....
Campaign, the future & thank you
Thank you once again for your commitment to #preventsexualharm.
