Help Us Raise Funds to #PreventSexualHarm A Community Response
Help us to #PreventSexualHarm by taking on a challenge and raising money for our work in your community. You could take part in a challenge event, raise funds or at work, organise an event, make us your charity of the year, or come up with your own ideas!
There are many ways to raise funds, something for everyone.
Taking part in a challenge event is a great way to get fit, motivate and achieve something great. Why not raise money in the process.
- Running – how about a 5k, 10k, half marathon or marathon?
- Challenge – obstacle course, trekking, triathlon
- Sponsored walk
- Sahara 100km Trek
£10 provides a volunteer DBS check. - £50 provides a community awareness session. - £100 provides intervention sessions for one month. - £250 can help recruit, interview, assess and train one volunteer to prevent sexual harm
There are many ways you can fundraise locally from getting together with a group of like minded people to organise an event to raising money through a car-boot sale selling off your unwanted items.
Fundraising at work
Fundraising at work can help to bring teams together as well as raising vital funds for our work in your community.
- Cake sales
- Dress down days
- Events – work ball, sponsored events
- Re:shape heroes
Organising a fundraising event can be a fun, challenging and rewarding activity. Here are some suggestions:
- A charity ball – requires a lot of organising but can raise thousands of pounds
- Carol singing – Christmas is a great time of year to invite people to sing carols and give to charity
- Amateur dramatics – fundraise through a local theatre production
Charity of the year
Put us forward as your employer's charity of the year. If you select us we will meet with you and discuss a target and ideas on how to raise money and involve your teams. We can provide press releases to promote the great work you are doing, helping to get the publicity your business deserves for supporting such a good cause.
We’ll help you. We can provide poster templates to promote your event, press release templates to send to local media and some ideas to try.
